What’s Love Got To Do With It? When it comes to your diet, it’s got EVERYTHING to do with it. OK, well, maybe not love, but definitely sexual desire and erectile dysfunction.
Your ability to become aroused and reach orgasm is directly related to your lifestyle choices, namely what you eat and whether or not you exercise. However, out of the two, diet trumps exercise all day (and night) long.
Erectile Dysfunction Is An Early Sign Of Heart Disease
Diets containing animal products line your arteries with cholesterol-filled plaque(1,2,4) , which reduces blood flow to every part of your body, including your sexual organs. Both women and men are affected by this, but with men, it is far more obvious, as they are unable to achieve erection.
What you probably never realized – because most doctors don’t even know or don’t bother to tell you – is that erectile dysfunction is typically the first, early warning sign of heart disease, as you’ll see in the video below.
Obviously it’s much easier for women to fake it, or they tend to chalk it up to being tired or “not in the mood” when they fail to reach orgasm as they normally would, or if they’re having trouble becoming aroused at all. However, just as with men, failure to become aroused can be related to the lack of blood flow to your nether regions.

The long and short of it (pun intended) is that, the human body was not intended or designed to eat animals, and especially not three or more times a day. Other countries have witnessed similar increases in cancer, heart disease, and diabetes as they move away from the largely plant-based diets of their ancestors and adopt our western diet filled with animal fats.

By contrast, long term studies(3) and doctor’s personal experiences show that a plant-based diet can significantly improve and even reverse the symptoms and diseases caused by animal consumption. However, it’s important to undo the damage before it’s too late, as sadly, for many people the first sign of a clogged artery is a fatal heart attack or stroke.
And, unfortunately, women are at much greater risk of suffering this fate as heart disease symptoms differ from those of men, and are often misdiagnosed. For this, and other reasons, heart disease remains the number-one cause of death for women in the United States.
