No, but seriously, there really a difference.
The biggest difference has to do with the pulp, which contains fiber. When you juice fruits and vegetables, you’re just getting the juice, without the fiber. When you blend fruits and vegetables into a smoothie, you’re getting the juice and the fiber.
So, now you might be asking which is better. I mean, don’t you need fiber? The answer is, “it depends”. Below, you’ll find a list of the benefits of juices versus smoothies. The reason I didn’t make a list of the “cons” is because there really aren’t any. When it comes to consuming vegetables and fruits, you literally can’t go wrong. Whether you choose a juice or a smoothie, you’re fighting and preventing disease in a powerful, completely natural and non-toxic way. Your choice really just depends on your circumstances, medical conditions and personal preference.
Juicing Versus Smoothies
