Most Yogurt Is Toxic To The Human Body
Most yogurt is toxic to the human body. This is because most brands are loaded with sugar, and the milk that they’re made with typically comes from cows that have been pumped full of antibiotics and growth hormones. In addition, they’ve been fed genetically modified grains. Even so-called “natural yogurt” is nothing more than cleverly disguised, sweet poison.
And, while most people believe that the sugar can be overlooked due to the other health benefits that yogurt provides – namely probiotics and calcium – I explain below why this is a fallacy.
Sugar And Calcium Do Not Play Well Together
There is no denying that calcium is essential to good health. It’s a major mineral, and keeps our skeletal structure strong so we don’t develop osteoporosis and end up with bones that look like swiss cheese. It lends a hand to Vitamin K so that our blood will clot when necessary and helps to regulate our blood pressure. By all accounts, calcium is a hero in our bodies. However, calcium is all but lost when combined with sugar. Studies show that sugar causes your body to excrete calcium, so when you combine the two, you’re basically wasting this precious mineral and very little will be absorbed. However, what will be absorbed into your body and cells is a lot of nasty, disease promoting toxins such as antibiotics and growth hormones, especially if you’re consuming dairy-based yogurt.
Super-bugs, Cancer And 8 Year Olds With Large Breasts
Antibiotic use in farm animals has skyrocketed, and it has spurred the creation of “superbugs” that are resistant to treatment. This has led to human deaths from minor medical issues because we’re no longer able to fight them off. We’ve built up an immunity to the antibiotics that doctors would normally use to treat these simple illnesses and infections.
In addition, the use of growth hormones has become common practice on factory farms due to the fact that it increases milk production and accelerates growth in the cows, to ready them for slaughter. This dangerous toxin is passed onto humans when we consume meat and dairy from cows that have been injected with the growth hormones, which is nearly 100 percent of all cows raised for dairy production and beef or veal products in the United States and most other developed nations. The use of these growth hormones in farm animals has been linked to human obesity, early-onset puberty, and breast, colon, prostate, and lung cancer. Another reason for the rise in these forms of cancer is increased levels of insulin-growth factor 1 (IGF-1) – a direct side effect of human dairy consumption.
The Real Deal On Sugar-Free Yogurt
What about sugar-free yogurt? Are these better for you? Again, the answer is no. Sugar-free yogurt is laden with ingredients such as high fructose corn syrup, which aids in weight-gain by blocking the receptors in your brain which should normally send signals to tell you when you’re full. In addition, almost all forms of corn syrup are now made from genetically modified corn which is also linked to cancer growth. Genetically modified organisms are also tied to a laundry list of other human diseases and disorders. And, while you may find some brands that use artificial sweeteners, it’s important to remember that the majority of sugar substitutes are chemical-ridden cancer promoters which should be avoided at all costs.
But I Love Yogurt
If you really must get your yogurt fix, I recommend products made with non-dairy alternatives, such as almond, coconut, or soy milk. These dairy-free yogurts have become widely available in traditional grocery chains as well as specialty stores. You should also choose yogurt that’s sweetened with fruit, if possible.
Prevent Osteoporosis And Heal Your Gut Without Yogurt
To maintain healthy bones, add more leafy greens, beans, and whole oranges to your diet. These plant-based options are loaded with calcium and other vital nutrients with zero health risks.
And, to get your gut bacteria back on track and heal your gut, most people need to add a probiotic to their diet. These important supplements can be found online or in stores and come in pill or liquid form. Another thing I recommend to clients is Restore. This liquid, daily supplement works even better than probiotics at not only increasing the number of healthy bacteria in your gut, but it will increase the variety of bacteria species, which is vital to your health and immune system. This incredible product also heals your gut lining, preventing unwanted proteins from escaping into your blood stream and causing an autoimmune response in your body.
Adding fermented foods to you diet is another very important step towards balancing your gut bacteria, which will have a profound effect on your overall health. However, remember stick with non-dairy fermented foods such as kombucha or veggies.
